Work effectively with BIM

We know BIM plays a key role in planning and managing many building projects. Information modelling and information management in one digital asset ensures everyone is working to the same standard, reducing the risk of mistakes and discrepancies.

We have a complete range of BIM objects available for our Spectus and Profile 22 brands on bimstore.co, the world’s best collection of BIM components. The service is completely free to specifiers and anyone using BIM in the development of their building.

View our product user guides and materials information, check all the details and visualise your projects. It helps you work efficiently and confirm our systems are the right fit.

Sustainability Matters

We’re committed to working sustainably to meet our environmental responsibilities and help create better buildings for 21st century needs. This is reflected in everything we do: from the raw materials used in our systems, through to our manufacturing processes and the recycling of products at the end of their life.

Responsible sourcing
Our policy is to procure within the UK if possible, from companies with strong ethical and environmental commitments. We hold the BES 6001 accreditation for responsible sourcing, currently the only PVC-U window system extrusion facility in the UK to do so.

Use (and reuse) of sustainable materials
Our systems use PVC and aluminium – both durable materials with a long lifespan, which can also be easily recycled. We use recycled materials in our products and are working on increasing this, with our acquisition of Poly-Pure bolstering our capability to reclaim PVC building materials. Part of the VinylPlus Product Label scheme, our PVC-U products are accredited as both sustainable and high performance.

A+ energy efficiency
Our window and door systems can achieve A and A+ ratings for energy efficiency, building more environmentally friendly homes. The use of recycled reinforcement material (RCM) in our systems provide a cost-effective way to improve U-values.

Made in the UK
Our window and door systems are designed and manufactured in the UK in state-of-the-art facilities. We work efficiently, keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible.

Accredited to the highest standards

All our products meet current regulations and best practice as a minimum – and many provide solutions far above those requirements.
We hold all the necessary accreditations and continually test and assess every aspect of our offering to make sure our products are developed to exacting standards.

  • Our products are kitemarked under British Standards
  • We operate to a quality management system that has achieved BS EN ISO 9001 and an environmental policy that meets BS EN ISO 14001
  • We’re known for responsible sourcing and have been awarded BES 6001
  • We’re members of The British Plastics Federation and our systems are approved by The Association of Chief Police Officers’ Secured by Design initiative

It means you can choose our products with the confidence they meet even the most demanding project specifications.
